The foot is in bad shape and Donna ended up taking it home where with her daughter's assistance they removed most of the material.
My heart goes out to them for trying to save a creature that will never bring them any rewards but personal satisfaction. Yes there are millions of pigeons, but this one is special. Just remember that there are thousands of people looking for 'life' on other planets while they ignore this little 'alien' right here. |

Having fun in the snow - Jan 30, 05
When I was their age growing up in Trinidad I would kneel bedside my bed and pray that we get snow at Christmas. It was an obsession of mine that one day it will snow. I believe if I was still living there I’d still be hoping that it snowed one day. |
