Unable to find Palemale on Thursday evening so no new shots today.

Palemale last Sunday on the east side of Central Park. These days are getting tougher as the sunlight is so limited after I leave my office at 5PM. The following four images were taken in the dark late Wednesday evening.

But light or dark it is always a thrill to see our friends. Even if the images of him flying into his roost tree cannot register in the camera it is lasting on my mind.

A cooper's hawk flies over the Great Lawn.

The state of the 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe garbage dumping area. It got from bad to worse. Our Riverside hawks are still very active in the area and the rat poisoning continues in the area.

All images photographed over the last few days.
