A winter wren in the west Pinetum, Central Park - Nov 2, 08.

I'm unable to get any free time from work to get to Central Park for the last few days. Thanks for visiting.

Sunday was a very important day in Central Park...

But it was no more important than Saturday was...

And no less important than was Friday...

All the same, it was very important.

Of course 'importance' depends on who makes it so...

For some people a wedding on Sunday was the most important thing...

But that wedding meant very little to the people who had to catch a flight to Australia...

But I was looking at what I was convinced the Earth was judging to be important...

and so, standing with one's adorable little sparrow face with one side to the sun was very important,

and making sure all someone's feathers were combed neatly back with every color and texture in place was extremely important,

and a little girl sparrow having to arrange her kisser within a select red colored bush was of utmost importance...

and to pluck a seed or two from a blade of grass here and a blade of grass there was important beyond description.

Or simply to sit and feel a cool, even icy, little breeze sail across a person's handsome face was as important as it gets.

Just to watch all these important things happen all around me made me feel like such an idle soul...

but recording all that I feel was so important on Sunday kind of made me forget how unimportant I was...so I focused on how important this little chubby face was,

and how important it was that this little creature had something good to eat,

And it's so important to have a little Stinker around for reasons too numerous to mention...

Perhaps it's all in my mind, these things that I believe are so important...I could be wrong. After all what I believe or not believe matters very little.

I do know who knows what matters most though...and once they know it all is well in the Universe and beyond!
