Palemale's daughter in Riverside Park late Thursday evening.

Her beak still has far to go but I see slow steady progress.

During the week it appears that more work was done on the Boat Basin nest than the one they built at 93rd Street further up the Hudson.

The evil human beings of The Central Park Conservancy led by Doug Blonsky brought them back.
I wish I had the time and resources to rub Mr Blonsky's and Mr Calvanese's noses into the 'pollution' generated by the other polluters in Central Park. But I prefer to focus on the beautiful things and leave it up to a just Universe to handle them in due time.

I have not given up on my questioning the authorities about the missing wild turkey from Central Park on January 16, 2009. I have given them sufficient time to respond to my FOIL requests and since Friday I have been dealing with them. You will not be surprised that the response thus far has been very poor. However I must give them the required time to respond. The NYSDEC was the first to respond last week with the most pathetic letter, the NYC Parks & Recreation is avoiding my calls and the Animal Care & Control claim they never received my request so I had to resend it. No surprise from these horrible agencies which has very little respect for animals but they will all hear my Trinidad voice ringing in their incompetent ears until I get some satisfactory answers. I do my best to keep the unpleasantness out of my website but believe me I am dealing with these people daily to make them account for their horrible actions. Like the NYPD, government personnel behave either like thugs or imbeciles when dealing with wild animals and this must stop.
The NYS DEC Region 2 only responded after I complained to Commissioner Grannisís office (who was very prompt and sympathetic) to report their lack of communication. I will post my progress with all of them when I can.
