Dear Mr Benepe:

In keeping with Central Park's claim to be 'Green', please consider supplying the Food Concession vehicle (waffle/ice cream cart) at the SW corner of the Great Lawn with electricity which can be easily served from a nearby light pole. Presently the cart is using an inefficient and foul smelling gasoline generator which is kept running for many hours each day. Apart from creating unnecessary noise and pollution to the park, its fumes may be tainting the food which is being purveyed to children.

The light pole near this food-cart can certainly supply a 20 Amp circuit which is more than ample for running the appliances and lighting necessary to operate this cart.

Thank you for looking into this matter.

Lincoln Karim,
Park patron. and lover of clean air.
