Central Park's Suspicious Wild Turkey Removal * * * Mail about the Wild Turkey

I look forward to the day when I'll be able to gaze up at this and read the enlightening message which these branches must surely be telling.

I somehow believe this to be an interesting account of what has passed...

or what is going to happen...

and this I'm sure can be the meaning of all that puzzles the unenlightened mind.

Birds must surely read all of this to help direct the path of their wonderful lives.

Squirrels probably wouldn't start their day until they read a report like this.

Yes, I truly believe that there is meaning in each twist and every bend...

Not to mention the engaging stories told by the gentle sway of every limb.

Maybe one of these branches would look down at a newspaper strewn on the ground and believe that there is no meaning to all those random scratches of ink on the pages...

and how right that wise old branch will be.

I don't see why this can't be a message that says; all is at peace on Jupiter...

and here may very well be a celebrated announcement that a ladybug just gave birth to half a dozen of the most adorable kittens in a hedge not too far away.

There is so much to read and listen to...

perhaps if you stare long enough the shapes will take a recognizable form.

Don't cut the slightest limb off...it'll be much like burning a book only much worse.

Sometimes I close my eyes and have the leaves and the Wind read it all to me...

Laziness on my part I know...

but it is an indulgence I find difficult to resist.

I believe the animals are already privy to all this knowledge, a small amount I can only wish to have one day...

Until then I must gaze at all this wisdom dumbfounded, and hope that delightful day is not too long in arriving.
