Palemale (below) and an intruding hawk over Fifth Avenue.
(It turns out that this is not an intruding hawk but rather a new female which Palemale began to associate with since the disappearance<br> of Lola some time after December 4th)

A swan over Central Park may have eventually landed on the Lake.

This is the first time I ever saw a swan in full flight.

Lola landing on the Oreo building.
(This may not be Lola but rather a new female which Palemale have attracted since the disappearance of Lola after December 4th).

Palemale's new mate, a much darker hawk than Lola.

Palemale over Fifth Avenue and 75th Street.

Lola over Central Park.
(I was wrong, this is not Lola but a new mate which Palemale has attracted since Lola's disappearance after December 4th)

A very dark hawk over the Model Sailboat Pond, could possibly be Charlotte.

Riverside Park parents, no doubt, perched on each Normandie tower at 87th Street & Riverside Drive.

Young red-tail over the Model Sailboat Pond.

Kestrel on Madison Avenue with heat waves from a chimney below.

Palemale over Fifth Avenue.

All images above photographed in Central Park on Friday December 17, 2010.
(Contrary to a few misidentified hawks above, Lola has now been missing for almost two weeks. The last time I photographed her was December 4th).
