Sometimes I wish I could talk to him and tell him that I'm sorry for what happened to his nest this year, but I'm so busy listening to him that there is no time for talking - Pale Male - Saturday August 20, 05

Charlie ventured out of the fenced area again and Maggie stayed at home - Wednesday August 17, 05

Charlie has a way of compelling you to take a moment from your monotonous routine and just marvel at something truly beautiful that you donít have to buy or put your name on a list for. I bet somewhere on their way home one or both of these passersby will slow down or perhaps even stop and sit on a bench and smile for no particular reason - Wednesday August 17, 05

Because the right people were selected to manage Central Park Charlie here is being left alone to be free. Daily the hawks in Central Park are educating people that they can live peacefully and lovingly with each other (humans & animals) - Wednesday August 17, 05

I hope as we continue to evolve that we will learn to understand and tolerate animals more. As we do, I trust that the number of wild animals in Central Park will grow bigger and bigger, and the number of confined animals will get smaller and smaller - Wednesday August 17, 05
