Very early Thursday morning, Palemale gets up to make room for Lola to take over --All images today photographed by a guest photographer Lara Bird (photo below).

Palemale's daughter in Riverside Park is feeding one or more newly hatched babies.

The hatched date was probably Wednesday April 23rd.

This is a young hawk which I found in the Mall, just south of the Bandshell in Central Park.

Palemale & Lola's nest seen from Fifth Avenue and 75th Street.

This young RT hawk in the Mall is hunting in Palemale Jr & Charlotte's territory.

But they don't seem to mind. I have been looking for Junior & Charlotte and any possible nesting site with no luck over the past few weeks. I have only found Charlotte from at a distance away so far.

Grackle seranading the new RT hawk babies in Riverside Park.

I am not quite sure if this is the same young hawk which was seen in Strawberry Fields recently.

Lola returning after an early morning break.

Today's guest photographer, Lara Bird.

It looks like Palemale & Lola can hatch more than just eggs.
